Company History
Total-Western, Inc. was formed July 1, 1995, through the combination of two Bragg Investment holdings. Originally founded in 1972 as Western Industrial Maintenance with a single office in Paramount, California, the Company specialized in providing temporary maintenance personnel to refinery and industrial clients. By 1978, the Company had expanded to four offices, including Paramount and Richmond, California, Portland, Oregon and Mount Vernon, Washington. In 1987, The Western Companies became affiliated with Bragg Investment Company, affording them direct access to the crane, rigging, heavy equipment and transportation capabilities of the premier crane and rigging company in the western United States. Total Services, Inc. opened as a merit shop contractor in 1983 providing construction and maintenance services to the central California area.
The joining of Total Services and The Western Companies created Total-Western, Inc. with five locations and the management, personnel, equipment and facility resources to provide construction, maintenance and fabrication services needed by customers throughout the western United States. Total-Western, Inc. continues to augment our capabilities and provide customers with a full range of services and expertise at cost effective rates.
