Company History
Huddled in a South Texas duck blind in 1947, John Murray, Sr. spun the idea for a construction business built upon expertise, integrity and consistency. With those traditional values and sincere ambition, Murray created one of the most successful commercial and industrial construction companies in the southern United States.
Today under the guidance of John Murray, Jr. and Les Chipman, Teal Construction continues to honor its heritage, building on our founding principles of responsible, efficient construction at a fair price. Throughout the years we have completed award-winning projects and continued to build our portfolio in all markets of construction. Throughout 72 years of operation, we have earned a reputation for outstanding service, innovative design and construction quality unmatched by any company in the Southwest.
