Company Overview
Byrne & Jones Construction is a site work and asphalt-paving contractor specializing in commercial and industrial projects in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. We provide a wide range of services from construction of new parking facilities, to maintenance and repair of existing paved areas, to top-line athletic running tracks and tennis courts. We have evolved into the largest commercial paving contractor in the area.
Company History
Robert C. Byrne, Co-Founder, began the company in 1976 to finance his college education. After graduation, Robert Byrne bought his partner's interest in the company and decided to go full stream to expand the company. The company's growth has been steady and constant ever since it's inception.
Brian Goggins, P.E. came to Byrne & Jones in 1996 as a Project Manager/Estimator with extensive experience in transportation design of urban freeways and arterials in addition to numerous roadway and site construction projects. He was named President in 2006.
Building a good reputation takes time. We pride ourselves with quality work and quality people. We are now the largest commercial asphalt paving company in the St. louis area and rank as a leader in commercial, industrial, municipal and institutional paving. In the mid-1980's, Byrne & Jones expanded its services into the niche market of building all-weather running tracks. Our specialty paving projects include tennis courts and field facilities.
Now employing over 80 people during peak season periods, our company continues to be recognized as the leader within the market we serve.

Benefits
At this time we offer the following which is always subject to change:
401k - eligible immediately upon hire. Byrne & Jones matches monthly up to 50% of employee contributions (not to exceed 3% of salary)
Performance Bonus
Employer paid for employee - dental and life insurance (Eligible on 1st day of calendar month following 30 days of employment).
HMO is free to employee and anything over $200 is paid for spouse/children. PPO is available at an additional cost. (Eligible on 1st day of calendar month following 30 days of employment).
